PMLD Awareness Day 2023

On the 5th of May we will be celebrating PMLD Day to increase awareness on our school, students, their abilities and needs and also on what resources are available to assist further their educational experiences.

What is PMLD?

It stands for Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

Brief Information about our Centre

This Centre in Qrendi caters for PMLD students between the ages of 11 and 22. Amongst the resources available, the school is equipped with a Multi-Sensory Room, Gross-Motor Studio, Jacuzzi for hydrotherapy sessions, gym, ICT lab, Music Room and a horticulture studio. Our student take part in the PTI Achieve Programme, EkoSkola, Globe Observer, Leaf, and in-house enterprise project, together with other curriculum subjects covered in schools.

5th May 2023 - PMLD Awareness Day

On the 5th May, if possible, wear something bright emphasising the sensory aspect of our teaching methods, that lead to a more accessible curriculum to meet the needs of all our students.
